About This Route

Most of this 'there and back' route is an old rail line and therefore is mostly granite chippings not really suitable for most roadbikes but its ok for anything with fatter tyres.

The ride features easy gradients and great views over the national park, goes past National Falls (great after heavy winter rains) and the lake at the end is swimmable in spring or early summer.  In late summer look out for warnings of algal blooms and/or meningacocal virus in the lake!

This cycling route is ideal for: MTB

You will cycle on the following surfaces: Unpaved Gravel
