About This Route

  • Teramo - Lago Campotosto. In Teramo empfehle ich, direkt zur SS81 zu fahren (Km 0 bis Km 4). Die Verkehrsdichte ist gering, so dass von mir gewählte Strecke keine Vorteile bringt.
  • Die von mir genutzte Straße von Ortolano zum Lago Campostosto (km 54 bis km 59) ist selbst für Wanderer kaum benutzbar, da auf einer Strecke von etwa 100 Metern die gesamte Fahrbahn abgerutscht ist (POI bei Km 58). Man kommt nicht umhin, die SS80 bis zur Abzweigung der SR557 zu fahren, auch wenn die Etappe dadurch länger wird.
  • Wenige Kilometer vor Ortolano gibt es zwei beleuchtete Tunnel und zwei Galerien.
